Novak Djokovic trumps Roger Federer

The Serb snatched the record from his ex-long-term rival Roger Federer at 36 years and 321 days.

The Swiss was a day younger when he was last at the top in the summer of 2018. Djokovic has now been at the top for a total of 420 weeks, which is as much a record as winning 24 Grand Slam titles.

Sebastian Ofner improved in the ranking to 44th place.

The Styrian gained three places compared to the week before. Dominic Thiem, who failed in the first round of the Monte Carlo qualification, fell six positions; the Lower Austrian is now 97th.

In the women’s category, Austria’s number one, Julia Grabher, fell to 130th place, Sinja Kraus is only 222nd.
