Novartis confirmed on Monday its plan to spin off 100% of Sandoz’s activities on October 4, following shareholders gave their approval earlier this month.
Novartis also reported that key regulatory approvals had been obtained, including SIX Exchange Regulation’s approval of the listing of Sandoz shares on the SIX Swiss Exchange.
Sandoz shares will carry the symbol SDZ, Novartis said.
