Kottayam: NSS Registrar P. N. Suresh resigned. The resignation was received in writing after the council meeting held yesterday. Suresh was asked to resign in a meeting of Adintira Council. It is known that Suresh’s resignation was taken in writing after the leadership realized the moves made to assert dominance in the organization.
There was a news in some media that PN Suresh is the successor of G Sukumaran Nair. This led to deep discontent among the members of the NSS Board of Directors. With this, the General Secretary directly demanded his resignation. PN Suresh told News18 that he resigned last night.
The council meeting held last day put forward a strict stand regarding Suresh. Two options were presented to Suresh. Either resign and go out. It was also announced that Allenkishal would be expelled. After this, Suresh resigned. The council meeting takes the final decision on the issues of NSS. President, General Secretary, Treasurer, Kalanjoor Madhu, Harikumar Koikal, Adv. Council members are Sangeet Kumar.
Suresh is famous as the Chairman of Aranmula Vastu Vidyagurukulam and Vice Chancellor in Charge of Kalamandalam Kalpitha University. G. in the UDF cabinet. Suresh became the chairman of Vastu Vidya Gurukulam when Karthiyekan was the Culture Minister. After that, Kalamandalam Kalpita Sarva Kalashala becomes the Vice-Chancellor in-charge.
