And according to him, the current negotiations on this subject have already lasted far too long. “Negotiations are due to end on December 31. If not, we will requisitions Engie at 1is January”, he warns. “We will force it to produce at a given price, which is perfectly possible in the name of security of supply both for businesses and individuals.”

“We will therefore not be able to lower prices because wind power prices are set at around €120/MWh”, he warns. “These are very stable prices which do not depend on gas prices but on production prices. On the other hand, nuclear power is three times cheaper and we can do it much faster.”
