Uganda’s Ministry of Health announced on Friday that the number of confirmed Ebola cases in the East African country had risen to eleven.
Uganda’s ministry said in a statement that in the past 24 hours, four new cases have been registered, bringing the cumulative number of confirmed Ebola cases in the country to eleven.
According to the ministry, three more deaths from the disease have been recorded, bringing the cumulative number of fatalities to eleven, including confirmed and suspected cases. Eight deaths occurred in the community and three others in health facilities.
Experts say they are continuing to investigate the origin of the Ebola virus disease outbreak. F
