NYALANESIA once again successfully held the National Literacy Festival on Saturday, (27/4) at the Tirtonadi Convention Hall, Surakarta City, Central Java, and broadcast live via channel YouTube Nyalanesia. The 2024 National Literacy Festival is the culmination of meetings, learning, celebrations and awards for teachers and students who have taken part in Nyalanesia programs.
With the theme “Indonesia Berkarya,” FLN in its 8th year of implementation has involved 83,195 students and teachers from all over Indonesia. Through Nyalanesia’s literacy and training programs, these students and teachers have succeeded in obtaining competency certification and publishing various works of fiction and non-fiction.
This year’s National Literacy Festival was held successfully thanks in part to the synergy between Nyalanesia and the Bank Indonesia Solo Representative Office. In this event, the Bank Indonesia Solo Representative Office has synergized by providing QRIS education, Consumer Protection, Love Proud of Understanding the Rupiah education and World Book Day 2024 Book Review sessions to hundreds of participants who attended.
Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, as Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, in his online speech at this event expressed his appreciation to Nyalanesia for organizing the National Literacy Festival.
“I, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, express my appreciation to Nyalanesia for holding the 2024 National Literacy Festival. This event is a means for the younger generation to preserve the culture of reading in Indonesia,” he said.
In the event session “World Book Day 2024 (The Journey of Change: The Empowering Force of Literacy) a book review was held entitled “Disappearing, Finding Your True Self” by Dr. Fahruddin Faiz.

Imam Subchan as the Chief Organizer of this event said that the presence of Fahruddin Faiz in this session was a commitment from Nyalanesia and Bank Indonesia to continue to improve and encourage literacy in Indonesia.
“The presence of Mr. Faiz and Mas Agus is part of the celebration of World Book Day 2024, where Nyalanesia and Bank Indonesia are committed to continuing to improve and encourage literacy in Indonesia,” he said.

“The highlight of the FLN 2024 event which was held for three days is proof of Nyalanesia’s commitment to continue to facilitate our students and teachers, and participate in efforts to advance literacy and the quality of education in Indonesia,” concluded Imam Subchan.
