NYC Weather Forecast: Rainy Weekend Causes Flooding, But Sunshine and Warmth Returns

2023-05-04 14:12:02

The New York area has had several days of constant rain, only on the weekend the downpours left heavy flooding in several parts of the region, which continue on Thursday, but the good weather would return.

With this, maybe two more days of cloudy skies are expected with scattered showers and below average temperatures in the area. Gray skies, scattered showers and highs in the 50s are expected for Thursday.

The good news is that by Friday the rainfall pattern begins to change, just in time for the weekend when temperatures will be warmer and above average. Friday night temperatures could already be expected in the 60s, but there will still be some showers during the day.

By Saturday and Sunday, people could put away their umbrellas and enjoy a warm, sunny weekend with temperatures in the 70s.

The rain would return mid-next week, but the temperatures will now remain more like the season.
