Tyrol and Salzburg mainly affected

Vienna (OTS) – On Saturday morning, the ÖAMTC traffic experts recorded heavy traffic on all main routes.

There were traffic jams especially on the Tyrolean Fernpass road (B179) from the Füssen border tunnel, where travelers had to accept a time loss of up to an hour. On the Brenner Motorway (A13) it took around 30 minutes longer in front of the Schönberg toll booth and on the Inntal Motorway (A12) there were repeated waiting times when leaving for Germany.

In Salzburg, according to the ÖAMTC, there were longer delays on the Tauern Autobahn (A10) in the construction area between Werden and Golling. A block clearance was imposed in front of the Helbersberg tunnel.

The club experts appeal to all road users to drive with foresight and pay attention to their speed, as there will be increased controls.
