Obertauern: Skier seriously injured after collision

On Sunday followingnoon, two skiers collided at the Kehrkopf. One was seriously injured, the other was unharmed, reports the Salzburg police.

On Sunday followingnoon, there was a ski accident involving two people at the Kehrkopf in the Obertauern ski area. A 49-year-old German and a 52-year-old Slovenian drove down the slope in short carving turns and collided with each other. The 52-year-old Slovenian had to be taken down the valley to a local doctor with the Skidoo. Due to the serious injuries, the injured man had to be transferred to the Cardinal Schwarzenberg Clinic in Schwarzach. According to the current status, the 49-year-old German citizen was unharmed.
