The Mars rover, finally, was able to obtain rock samples that were described as precious, while scientists hope that they will bear indications of life on the red planet.
According to what was reported by the “Sky News” channel, according to the “Washington Post” newspaper, the samples extracted by the wandering vehicle show signs of “a past when there was water,” and they also contain organic molecules, equivalent to the known ingredients of life.
The scientists supervising the mission say that the exploration vehicle took the samples and preserved them in tubes, in order to bring them to Earth in the future.
