Next transfer in the ÖFB women’s national team: defender Marina Georgieva leaves Paris Saint-Germain and continues her career in Italy.
The 26-year-old Austrian team player switched from SC Sand to Paris Saint-Germain last year. At the French top club, Georgieva only made a few appearances. She has now signed for last season’s Italian league fourth-placed AC Fiorentina. She will also meet her national teammate Laura Feiersinger in the women’s Serie A. The Salzburg native is looking for a new challenge with champions AS Roma.
