Solna – The negotiations regarding the ÖFB infrastructure project in Vienna-Aspern are entering the home stretch. The official funding commitments for the 70 to 75 million euro construction project are still pending, but Klaus Mitterdorfer, President of the Austrian Football Association, is hoping for binding decisions by mid-October – then the excavators might start rolling in this year. However, there are still a few challenges to overcome before then.
