Barcelona centre-back, Gerard Pique, is certain to part with Shakira. They have been together for 11 years, and they have two children.
Spanish daily newspaper El Periodico has published allegations made by video podcast Mamarazzis claiming that Pique “has been seen accompanied by other women” and that he had “lived alone for weeks in his old apartment”.

There were rumors that the woman was the biological mother of fellow Barcelona player, Gavi. But the rumors could not be believed to be true.
“We regret to confirm that we are separating,” said a statement by Shakira and Pique released through the agency EFE.
“For the welfare of our children, which is our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy.”
“Thank you for your understanding.”
Pique and Shakira have been together for 11 years, and dated in 2010. In an interview with the Catalan newspaper The Sports in 2020, Pique recalled the first time he met the singer, who featured at the 2010 World Cup before Spain’s 1-0 win over the Netherlands in the final.
“I told him I would see him in the final,” he said. “He’ll be performing at the closing ceremony and I’m sure we’ll get that far.”
The couple have two children aged nine and seven. In an interview on the video series Overlap Gary Neville which was released in May 2022, Pique discusses why he and Shakira are not getting married.
Although the two of them are like a married couple, but the two have never been legally bound through marriage.
Pique said: “No, I’m not married. It’s his mentality [Shakira]. I like how we are now. We have two children, nine and seven now. We worked well as a couple.”
