The Napoli formalized this Thursday the arrival in the form of a loan of the Argentinian striker Giovanni Simeone (son of Diego Simeone). As expected for several days, Simeone is lent by theHellas Verona to Naples with option to buy.
It’s now official, Giovanni Simeone will play Naples this season since he is on loan from l’Hellas Verona with whom he registered 17 buts in 36 matches disputed in Serie A last year (4e top scorer in the league). Argentina international loan (5 selections, 1 goal) of 27 ans comes with a purchase option, the amount of which has not yet been disclosed.
This is a fine ascent for one of the revelations of recent seasons in Serie A who will now be able to play at the top of the table by Italy as well as Champions League with the team of Napoli.
Simeone will in all likelihood be the understudy of Victor Osimhen with all the same hopes of playing time since the Argentinian striker can bring a lot to the Neapolitan attack and could why not be aligned alongside the Nigerian international.
