HOW MANY NATIONAL HOLIDAYS WILL BE OFFICIALLY CELEBRATED FROM 2024 IN PERU AND ON WHAT DATES?

For 22 years, the Government of Peru had decreed up to 12 holidays for the benefit of a large percentage of workers and public servants, but when 2021 came to a close, the Congress of the Republic began to make decisions that impacted the calendar of commemorated holidays. annually within the country.

Currently, and after a series of announcements endorsed in bills by Parliament, the number of non-working days officially declared in article 6 of Legislative Decree No. 713, amounts to a total of 16 thanks to the approval of 4 new anniversaries.
