Precisely, and in relation to non-working dates that represent a benefit for millions of people, last 2023 has become the year where the current management of the Congress of the Republic expanded the calendar of official anniversaries. HOW MANY NATIONAL HOLIDAYS WILL BE OFFICIALLY CELEBRATED FROM 2024 IN PERU AND ON WHAT DATES?
For 22 years, the Government of Peru had decreed up to 12 holidays for the benefit of a large percentage of workers and public servants, but when 2021 came to a close, the Congress of the Republic began to make decisions that impacted the calendar of commemorated holidays. annually within the country.
Currently, and after a series of announcements endorsed in bills by Parliament, the number of non-working days officially declared in article 6 of Legislative Decree No. 713, amounts to a total of 16 thanks to the approval of 4 new anniversaries.
