Świderski achieved his goal
In MLS, Świderski made 70 appearances, 25 goals and 13 assists. However, the Polish attacker and his agent Mariusz Piekarski did not hide that their goal was to return to Europe and play in one of the top leagues on the Old Continent. He was given such an opportunity by transfer to Hellas, which plays in the Italian Serie A.
The popular “Świder” was loaned to Verona for six months. After the end of this season, the Italians will be able to buy him permanently from Charlotte. In this context, a lot will depend on whether Marco Zaffaroni’s team will stay in the elite. Currently, Hellas is 16th in the table, but has the same number of points as Cagliari, who are opening the relegation zone.

Karol Świderski is one of the most important players of the Polish national team in recent years. He made his debut for the national team in March 2021 and since then, although he often came off the bench, he scored 10 goals in 28 appearances. These were often important goals – in matches for points in the World Cup and European Championship qualifiers and in the Nations League.
In the Euro 2024 qualifications, he scored in two matches in Warsaw – in March against Albania (1:0) and in October against Moldova (1:1).
He participated in the 2021 European Championships and the 2022 World Championships.
Polish representation After an unsuccessful adventure in the Euro 2024 qualifying round, it took only third place in its group. Therefore, the White and Reds will have to fight to advance to the European Championships in next year’s play-offs.
