Oil pipeline maintenance affects car traffic on Rua dos Comandos – Jornal OPaís

Car traffic has been banned since the early hours of this Thursday on Rua dos Comandos, in the municipality of Cazenga, in Luanda, due to the maintenance of a Sonangol oil pipeline.

According to a statement from the municipal administration of Cazenga, the road will be conditioned, for a period of eight days, due to the maintenance operation on the Pipeline (oil pipeline) of the National Fuel Society of Angola (Sonangol), in the Cazenga/ Cariango, on the perimeter next to the “Zé Dú” media outlet, urban district of Tala-Hady.

The operation is being carried out on the line that transports the Jet A-1 to the “4 de Fevereiro” international airport.

Three fires, which occurred in August 2023, on the aforementioned fuel transport line, specifically in the intervened area, are the basis of maintenance.
