Oil rig burns in Gulf of Mexico – Mexico

MEXICO CITY – Several workers were injured in an explosion on an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico. At least three others are missing, Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said on Friday. The accident happened on the offshore platform Nohoch Alfa of the state oil company Pemex regarding 80 kilometers north-west of the city of Ciudad del Carmen, as reported by local media.
