Brent crude rose above $87 yesterday, supported by tight supplies.

It is widely expected that Saudi Arabia will extend a voluntary cut in oil production by one million barrels per day to October.

Brent crude rose regarding 3% last week, while the price of US West Texas Intermediate crude rose 5%.

During trading, Brent rose 98 cents, or regarding 1.1%, to 87.81 dollars, while West Texas Intermediate crude rose 95 cents, or the equivalent of 1.1%, to 84.58 dollars a barrel. – Archyde.com
