Cairo: An oil ship bound for Saudi got stuck in the Suez Canal. After a year, there will be traffic jam again. The 250 meter long oil tanker ‘Affinity V’ was stranded on the south side of the canal.
Last year, the container ship ‘Ever Given’ got stuck at the same place.
The ship, which was going from Portugal to Saudi Arabia, got stuck around 7.15 pm on Wednesday. The ship was stuck in the canal for about five hours. With the help of tugboats, the stranded ship was brought back to normal and traffic was restored.
