Oklahoma’s Singing Ministries Prepare for New Season of gospel and Worship

Oklahoma City, OK – As summer winds down, a unique force of musical ministry is gearing up for a new season across the state. The Singing Churchmen of oklahoma, Singing ChurchWomen of Oklahoma, Oklahoma Baptist Symphony, Oklahoma Student Worship Choir, and oklahoma Baptist Children’s Chorus are preparing to embark on a year of concerts and worship events.

These groups represent a diverse cross-section of Oklahoma Baptists – pastors, musicians, educators, healthcare professionals, and individuals from all walks of life – united by a shared passion for spreading the Gospel through music. Nearly 900 strong, these dedicated members from Oklahoma Baptist churches will share their talents to uplift and encourage communities throughout the state.

From September through April or May, audiences can expect to experience powerful concerts and nights of worship, primarily held within Oklahoma’s 1800 Baptist churches. However, the ministry’s reach extends beyond traditional church settings.

Recent performances have included appearances at bricktown events for the Oklahoma City Comets, local parks, athletic arenas, and even a spectacular concert alongside a United States Air Force fighter jet.Occasionally, these groups extend their ministry beyond state lines, participating in mission trips and sharing their message internationally.

“Our goal is simple: to live out the message we sing and play – to go wherever He leads,” says a representative from Oklahoma Baptists. “We invite everyone to join us in worship.”
