Olaf Scholz will be wearing an eye patch for the next few weeks. The decision follows a fall that occurred last weekend while jogging, during which he suffered a facial injury. Following his accident, the German Chancellor wrote on social media that he is already looking forward to the funny memes and images that will be shared about him.
His post in which he shares an image of himself with an eye patch on X, the old Twitter, has generated many reactions. Many people wished the politician good luck, but it didn’t take long for the first pirate jokes to arrive.
