Older adults received ophthalmological medical care in Miranda

About 14 older adults from the Eulalia Buroz municipality in the state of Miranda benefited from a day of visual medical care.

The health operation was carried out in coordination with the municipality’s mayor’s office, the Social Development Secretariat, the center’s medical staff and the People’s Power, to guarantee the well-being and good living of these grandparents, as reported by the Intangible Cultural Heritage Secretary Mariam Martinez.

“Beyond the recognition granted by the ordinance, we seek comprehensive care, follow up on the requirements in terms of health, food, sports and housing to improve their quality of life,” explained Martínez.

Likewise, he highlighted the effort made by the mayor of the autonomous municipality Eulalia Buroz, in the development of prevention and care programs for these people, who are sources of knowledge for the new generations.
