The government has not managed to convince large retailers to set up a common anti-inflation basket. Carrefour has therefore decided to draw its own “anti-inflation basket” first. 200 products will be offered at an average price of €2. Intermarché, for its part, offers 500 everyday products including 30 references from its traditional departments and each week 3 fresh products will be offered at low prices.
