The former Minister of Health justified his choice in the columns of Le Parisien, affirming that he would not perform cosmetic “surgery”.
It’s a choice that surprised more than one. The former Minister of Health Olivier Véran, a professional neurologist, had announced, to the Figaro, on March 17, his retraining as an aesthetic doctor. A choice that he justifies in the columns of Parisian this Thursday, March 21.
“People have the right to have an opinion. But whatever I did, there would have been criticism”, he immediately advances to our colleagues. Having become a simple deputy again since the start of the year, Olivier Véran had expressed his desire to return to the medical world. Olivier Véran declares that he therefore wants to devote himself to “medicine” aesthetic, advancing alongside the Parisian the figure of «15 %» French people who would benefit from it. He also claims not to know how much he will earn at the Champs-Élysées clinic, a private Parisian establishment, popular with many influencers where breast augmentations, liposuctions, facelifts and even phalloplasties are carried out.
