Pierre Sage said it once more this Tuesday on the club channel, OL are quickly expecting offensive reinforcements. The Lyon coach will soon be able to count on one of them: his managers have just reached an agreement with La Gantoise for the transfer of Gift Orban, for around €13 million. The 21-year-old Nigerian striker is expected to sign a four and a half year contract in the coming days.

OL continue to negotiate for Danjuma and Benrahma

Capable of playing in all three attacking positions, fast and powerful, he has just scored 32 goals in 51 matches with the Belgian club. This is a second promising offensive reinforcement recruited this winter by David Friio following the purchase of winger Malick Fofana for €17 million. In this sector of play, OL are continuing their negotiations for Arnaut Danjuma (Everton) and Saïd Benrahma (West Ham), two more complex files which are slow to progress.

For Orban, the Rhone leaders had to deal with competition from several Bundesliga teams. The young player, who should travel to Lyon this Wednesday, shares the same agents as his compatriot Victor Boniface, who explodes in Leverkusen.
