She created a YouTube channel a few years ago where she talks about her problems and what her DID causes in everyday life. Olympe had also come to testify on the set of “It starts today”, Faustine Bollaert’s program on France 2. During the interview, she had changed her personality, going from Lily to Lucie, the alter “protective ”, which was noticed in her change of voice and attitude, Lucie being a colder personality than Lily.
If she has been living with TDI for years, Olympe informed her many Instagram subscribers a few days ago that she would soon resort to assisted suicide in Belgium.
“The main reason is that I’m exhausted,” said Olympe, on the verge of tears, in a video posted on her account, “You can’t necessarily understand my decision, and I’m not asking you to understand it. […] I am very resilient but like any human, I have my limits”. She then spoke of the criticism suffered for years by haters, and the fact that she is alone, despite her many supports on social networks, to overcome what the TDI imposes on her on a daily basis.
She confided that she was in contact with doctors and that she would resort to assisted suicide at the end of 2023. If Olympe is already announcing her decision, it is because she does not is “not closed” to “something” changing her mind until then. “Even if I don’t believe it […] With my troubles, my past, my brain that doesn’t work well. I don’t have enough things that make me love to see anything other than the negative”, however added the young woman.
