Olympic takes control against the Geneva Lions

Olympic recovered the advantage of the floor on Friday, which he had ceded to the Lions in Act I of their SBL semi-final.

The Fribourgeois won 65-41 on Geneva soil to take the advantage 2-1 in this series scheduled for the best of five matches.

Coach Petar Aleksic’s men imposed themselves as the boss, as in the second match played on Tuesday (81-53). They forced the decision in the first half already thanks to a 24-4 partial, achieved in the space of 9 minutes and which allowed them to lead 34-11 in the 17th.

Led by Milos Jankovic (17 points) and Slobodan Miljanic (8 points, all scored in the first half, and 7 rebounds), Olympic reached the break with this margin of 23 units (42-19). The Fribourgeois did not loosen their grip on returning from the locker room, even if they conceded an 8-0 at the start of the final quarter.
