We didn’t have our hands free to pick up the players we wanted. The departure of the players was painful, we did it to be in line with the budget prepared by the previous management. Our team in the football department did an excellent job, we brought in nine players despite the constraints of the DNCG. These nine players all want to be there and don’t see us as a training club. (…) It would have been better to make a quick change (of coach, editor’s note) during the summer. Coaches like Fabio would have preferred to work with a preseason”he confided at a press conference.
