Four must-see coastal destinations -Mykonos in Greece, Forte dei Marmi in Italy, Saint-Tropez in France and San Diego in California- were chosen for their close link with the sea and to host these “Ephemeral Boutiques”.
Inside the boutiques, the watchmaker has staged the essence of the ocean, with hammered steel walls that symbolize the shimmering ripples of water, as well as a statue of Poseidon carrying a trident, made with materials inspired by alabaster to celebrate 75 years of the Seamaster collection.
Surrounding the statue is a selection of vintage Seamaster watches, including some of the most important diving models, as well as eight new additions to the Seamaster Summer Blue collection.
These watches, let’s remember, are presented with a gradient of more or less intense blue dials that reflect the history of the depths of the Seamaster (and therefore, their degree of water resistance).
