This High Directive intervenes in the context of strengthening the public health offer and reducing the socio-economic impact of the pandemic on populations living in precarious situations, initiated under the High Benevolence of the Sovereign, indicates a press release from the Foundation.

The immediate start concerns 11 new centers whose construction and equipment works were completed – for the most part – in 2021, in six cities of the Kingdom. They fall within the framework of programs to expand access for disadvantaged populations to local health care, to the management of specific needs, to young people’s access to professional qualifications and to support. for the reinforcement of the capacities of the woman, adds the same source.

These include large-scale projects and medico-social structures that fall under two major programs of the Foundation in the fields of health and disability: Local Medical Centers – Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity (CMP) and the network of the Mohammed VI National Center for the Disabled (CNMH). Two new CMPs, among the 12 units planned (including 2 operational in Rabat and Casablanca since 2019) will open their doors in Bni Makada in Tangier (66 million dirhams) and in the New Town of Errhama (73 million dirhams). With regard to the CNMH, it is the two new regional sections of Tangier (66 million dirhams) and Agadir (25 million dirhams) which will start their activities, bringing to 8 the number of operational CNMHs on the national territory.

In addition, the Center for Chronic Diseases specializing in the treatment of diabetes (5 million dirhams) will come to consolidate the offer in this area in the city of Fez.

In addition to these, the Second Chance School of Ben M’sik (14 million dirhams) which will allow young people aged 12 to 20 without a diploma and without a job to regain their footing and build their professional integration project. .

Regarding the other projects, these are three Training and Capacity Building Centers for Young People and Women in Fahs Anjra (17.5 million dirhams), the Proximity Center for Women and Children in Mers El Kheir (6 million dirhams) located in the Prefecture of Skhirat – Temara and the Pedagogical Center for Hearing Rehabilitation in Tangier (16 million dirhams).
