A passenger was terrified, and others feared, after he snapped pictures of duct tape on the wing of an Australian Jetstar Airways plane, as it was heading to the island of Bali.
In response to the concerns raised by the passenger, the airline “Jetstar” said: “The tape does not mean that there is a danger to the aircraft or the safety of passengers and employees on the flight.”
According to the Australian “Nine News” television website, the company said: What the passenger picked up was a pressure-sensitive aluminum tape, and that aircraft engineers use this type of tape; For minor repairs to aircraft, here it was used as a precursor to repaint the fuselage and wings, after peeling off the paint.
