One of the largest collections of rare Apple technology will be put up for sale

March 30 collection of old Apple technology put up for sale at auction in Beverly Hills (USA, California). It can be purchased both at the auction itself and online.

The collection consists of over 500 computers and devices collected between 1977 and 2008, including such rare computers as the 1983 Apple Lisa I and the 1979 Apple II Plus. An exhibition will also be held from 27 to 30 March, presenting part of the collection.

It was put together by the Swiss teacher and entrepreneur Hanspeter Lusi. Some computers sell for as much as $20,000. The auction will feature the 1983 Apple Lisa I, one of the first computers with a graphical interface that was released by Apple in a limited run of 10,000 copies due to financial failure.

Most of the equipment is supposed to be sold for smaller amounts: from $300 to $500 (including the 1986 Apple Macintosh Plus). Also on sale will be the 1994 Apple QuickTake 100 camera and the Apple Joystick input for Apple IIE and Apple IIC computers.
