The PS5 exclusive developed by the Insomniac Games studio was announced in 2021.
According to Tom Henderson, an insider recognized in the video game world for his reliable information, the game Marvel’s Wolverine will not see the light of day in 2023. Indeed, according to his estimates and his information, the game will not be released before 2024, or even 2025. .
This hypothesis seems logical, the Insomniac Games studio is currently actively working on Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which is scheduled for release in 2023. It therefore seems complicated for the studio to manage the production of two such important licenses. The first Marvel’s Spider-Man had considerable commercial and critical success, the studio surely intends to put all the chances on its side to repeat this success, even if it means putting the Wolverine game on hold for the moment.
As a reminder, Marvel’s Wolverine was announced in 2021 during the PlayStation Showcase through a teaser.
Since then, Insomniac Games has not shared any trailers or gameplay footage. It must be said that the game is still in early development since the motion capture sessions only started last April.
We will therefore still have to be patient before playing Wolverine on PS5.
