The police have received one tip so far for the rape case in Hoorn on Saturday afternoon. A 31-year-old Polish woman was then pulled into the bushes in a park by a man she did not know and attacked. He has not yet been found.
A police spokeswoman would not say how useful the tip was. The tip is now being investigated. “All tips are welcome and useful,” she says.
Officers have also conducted neighborhood and passer-by investigations to gain more clarity. According to the spokeswoman, the case has the officers’ “full attention.” “All kinds of teams are involved in a case like this: the morals team, neighborhood officers, the detectives. We are busy investigating what happened.”
