A one-year-old boy was bitten in the head by his grandfather’s dog on Wednesday evening in the Kirchdorf district. The toddler was taken to the hospital with injuries, police said. The Appenzeller Labrador male had previously been considered good-natured. The grandfather was giving the dog a treat in the kitchen when his grandson ran into the kitchen. According to the police, the dog suddenly bit and caught the little one on the head.
