Portal Video Games Chronicle noticed on a strong drop in the popularity of the cooperative fantasy action game Babylon’s Fall on Steam. According to Steamcharts.com, as early as April 13, the number of concurrent players decreased to 8.
Action by PlatinumGames and Square Enix showed bad start already on the day of release. Then the number of simultaneous players did not reach even a thousand people. Other games-publisher services − Marvel’s Avengers i Outriders – got off to a much better start. The first had more than 31 thousand active players, and the second – 125 thousand. Peak online Babylon’s Fall for the month was 1166 people.

In March, developers launched a survey with which they tried to find out from users what they did not like. Respondents were asked to express their level of satisfaction with various elements of the action, including visuals, characters, environments, levels, and so on.
Babylon’s Fall is currently hosting a special event related to another PlatinumGames project – NieR: Automata. Players were offered new cosmetic items and quests.
