AM/FM radio is still used by most Canadians as an in-car audio source, but has lost ground to digital audio sources. 70% of Canadians aged 18 and over, who have driven or ridden in a car in the past month, have used AM/FM radio in the car, up from 79% in 2021. 19% of those who have driven or ridden in a car in the past month used SiriusXM in the car, up from 16% last year, and 19% used online radio in the car, up from 17% last year. In-car podcast consumption has remained stable at 20% of over-18s. Finally, 26% of Canadians who have driven or ridden in a car in the past month have an in-dash entertainment system.
