The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) took part, earlier this week in London, in the Travel Media Awards, rewarding British travel media.
More than 300 journalists were present as well as operators and prescribers of English travel. Among the media present at this event, BBC, Times, Guardian, Independent, Daily Mail, National Geographic and Sunday Times, among others.

According to the same source, this event comes on the eve of the annual congress of the Association of British Travel Agents -ABTA- which will be held on October 11 in Marrakech and on the eve of the World Travel Market scheduled for November 7 to 9, 2022 in London. Two major events in the microcosm of tourism where the ONMT intends to stand out to promote Morocco as a destination.
A workshop to prepare for this show is also organized by the ONMT in collaboration with the National Confederation of Tourism at the end of the week. The objective will be to “mobilize all the Moroccan operators, co-exhibitors around common messages, to inform them of the situation of the British market, the activity of the competition and the axes on which they should focus their efforts to promotion and to introduce them to the various tools provided for this event,” the press release states.
