According to the Organic Law of Elections, the candidates and representatives of political organizations, nor the officials and employees of electoral bodies cannot be members of the polling station:

Workers belonging to the electoral system (ONPE, JNE, Reniec)

Political authorities, members of the Public Ministry and Ombudsman (only those who carry out crime prevention and electoral supervision activities)

Members of the Armed Forces (only those who carry out activities related to the development of the electoral process and firefighters).
