2024-01-21 20:55:36

Two Ontarians were charged Saturday following the police chase following shots fired at a house in Lorraine, in the Laurentians.

Da Vonte Allen, 27, and Lesmar Raymond Leslie, 25, appeared on Saturday evening following being arrested the same day in Laval.

They both face charges of receiving stolen property, breakage, fleeing and dangerous driving following allegedly opening fire on a residence on the Moselle coast in Lorraine, around 1:15 a.m.

When they were located by the police on Chomedey Boulevard in Laval, the suspects fled before stopping the vehicle and fleeing on foot.

The act of denunciation obtained by The newspaper suggests that Lesmar Raymond Leslie was driving and Da Vonte Allen was a passenger.

They were in a vehicle that had been reported stolen in Ontario, according to Laval police on Saturday.

The two Ontarians are currently detained. According to research from Journal, they have no criminal history in Quebec. However, we were unable to verify whether they had a history outside the province, such as in Ontario.

An expertise must be carried out on the firearm which was seized during the police intervention.
