When the singers of the ensemble “The Christmas Gospel” raise their crystal-clear voices to the highest register both at the beginning and at the end of the concert, a shudder regularly goes through the audience. This is the spirit of gospel – is an often heard opinion regarding the performance of „The Christmas Gospel“.
But also the gospel classics like “Oh Happy Day”, Amazing Grace, and “When the Saint” is of course part of the ensemble’s repertoire, which is particularly impressive due to the balance of women’s and men’s voices.
