You can open your account in US dollars through the BDVenlínea platform, without having to go to any branch of this banking entity.

These are the requirements to open a BDV dollar account

• Have a national currency account at Banco de Venezuela.
• Be affiliated with BDVenlínea people.
• Have authentication methods enabled.

This is how account opening works

• Log in to BDVenlínea people with the unique username and password.
• Follow the route: Currencies > Account opening.
• Complete the required information: type of account and tutor office.
• Confirm the request and authenticate.

Upon completion of the registration process, the proof of opening of the foreign currency account will be automatically displayed. This must be kept and printed, as it contains the account number.

You can also configure the foreign currency account as a backup account in the option: Requests > Account opening > Settings, selecting the operation and activating payment by point of sale, BiopagoBDV or PagomóvilBDV.
