OpenAI and Italy’s data protection authority discuss lifting the ChatGPT ban – network policy

The Italian data protection authority is planning a meeting with representatives of the US group OpenAI on Wednesday following temporarily banning the chatbot ChatGPT last week. OpenAI had expressed in a letter on Monday its willingness to respect European data protection regulations and to find a common solution.
