Opening of negotiations with Veolia for the operation of the Oum Azza landfill in Rabat

After two unsuccessful markets, the Oum Azza landfill is still looking for an operator. The new invitation to tender is launched for an amount estimated at 52.3 million DH.

Within the framework of a new contract, the works consist of the operation of the Oum Azza landfill, the operation of the 3 transfer centers in Rabat, Salé and Témara, as well as the transport and transfer of waste from the three centers transfer to the Oum Azza landfill.

The same source indicated that the Al Assima Intermunicipal Cooperation Establishment has obtained authorization from the Interior Ministry allowing it to begin negotiations with Veolia, from August 24th.
