The Prime Minister’s Office announced the reopening of roads and tunnels in the Green Zone in the center of the capital, Baghdad, starting at 5 am tomorrow.
A follow-up member of the Prime Minister’s office, Major General Jassem Al-Zubaidi, told Al-Iraqiya News, and was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The engineering effort was directed to open several roads in the Green Zone and 4 spider tunnels, according to the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani.”
He added, “Work on the plan will start from 5 am tomorrow, Sunday, and only small cars will be allowed to pass until 7 pm daily.”
