Oppo has officially unveiled its new flagship phone, the Oppo Find X5, which is a family of two phones, the basic and the Pro option with significant improvements to the camera.
As stated in the leaks, Oppo decided to launch the new generation of Find phones with the number 5 instead of 4, as the last generation was Find 3, which information was confirmed by several Chinese sources for reasons due to the pessimistic Chinese culture of the number 4.

One of the most important new features in the new Oppo Find X5 is that it comes with a special MariSilicon X 6 nano-architecture processing chip that works with the phone’s primary processor and specializes in image processing to provide a professional photography experience with only fast processing to extract the best quality even in low-light situations.
The custom chip is integrated with the Snapdragon 888 processor instead of the first generation Snapdragon 8 processor, as stated in the leaks.
The performance of the phone is supported by 8 GB of random access memory with 256 GB of storage space, and the Android 12 operating system with the distinctive OPPO interface, ColorOS 12.1.
The company says that the new user interface offers visual improvements and greater customization, as well as a new multi-screen calling feature that allows you to seamlessly switch between using your phone and your Windows PC.
Oppo Find X5 is smaller than the Pro version, and it comes with a 6.55-inch OLED screen, with a resolution of 1080+ pixels, and although it is not a high-end LTPO screen, it still offers a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The back of the phone is covered with a matte glass (available in black and white), as well as a fingerprint-resistant frame.
The battery is also smaller than the Pro version, here it will have a capacity of 4800 mAh (versus 5,000 in the X5 Pro), but it is 300 mAh larger than the battery of the last generation X3.
The Oppo Find x5 supports the same fast wired SuperVOOC charging but at 80W (up from 65W in the X3), and the wireless charging has been downgraded to 30W AirVOOC which is still fast compared to competitors.

From the back, there are significant improvements to the camera in the new generation, in addition to integrating a special chip, as we have already mentioned in the processor to improve image processing, improved hardware has also been adopted.
The first sensor in the camera is of the type IMX766 distinguished in color discrimination, with a resolution of 50 mega-pixels and a large aperture of f/1.56 and takes wide-angle photos, the second lens with the same sensor type and accuracy and provides the possibility of capturing ultra-wide images.
The third lens is a 13-megapixel telephoto lens and supports 2x optical and 20x digital zoom.
The front camera in the Oppo Find X5 comes with an IMX615 sensor, also with a 32-megapixel resolution.

The company said that the phone will be available in black and white only, to be officially launched in the markets during the next few days, and it will start from China to reach the rest of the global markets immediately after.
The company did not reveal the exact prices, but said that the phone with 8 GB of random memory and 256 GB of internal storage is the version in global markets, it will cost about $ 1000.
