Caracas – The Supreme Court in Venezuela has excluded opposition candidate María Corina Machado from the presidential election. On Friday, the court confirmed a 15-year ban on holding office against the 56-year-old. The judges also excluded the opposition’s possible replacement candidate, two-time presidential candidate Henrique Capriles, from the election.
