It’s a new pebble in the shoes of the Tivoli Nord complex in Serrières. An opposition to the Migros building permit has been filed. According to the City of Neuchâtel, it concerns several elements of the project, in particular parking, noise and accessibility.
As we revealed at the beginning of April, the orange giant plans to establish itself by the end of the year within the future administrative complex. An arrival on the sly which had surprised at the time, but which did not seem to provoke an outcry. The fact remains that it only took one public inquiry, at the beginning of June, for this opposition to spring up. The battle therefore seems to be on and might delay Migros’ plans.
This opposition comes on top of that which is currently blocking the conservation center of the city’s museums. /rgi
