Optimistic news about Dimitris Kokota’s health: “He reacted to the first stimulus” – 2024-05-03 18:16:34

The news about Dimitris Kokota’s health is good, who suffered a heart attack and collapsed during J2US rehearsals. The singer had been in sedation for some time, as attempts by doctors to wake him up had not been successful.

Now, o Dimitris Kokotas shows signs of improvement, since last Sunday he responded by opening his eyes. The doctors who follow him told “On Time” about Dimitris Kokota: “He reacted to the first stimulus.” According to the latest information, the singer remains in the ICU but is now breathing without mechanical support.

His wife, Katerina, said about the singer: “Every day we expect something new, doctors can’t say everything 100%. He’s reacting, yes… I mean he’s got some reactions, but he’s got some tubes that he needs, because he’s not awake, to function on his own, he still needs support. I don’t know the function of each of the tubes. He is still in the ICU. I go and see him every day and keep up to date with his health status.” Regarding their daughter’s psychology, she noted: “The child is fine, in the sense that she misses her dad. I’m optimistic, I haven’t thought anything negative for a single moment. Dimitris will get up and be super, as he was before,” he said and added:

“Doctors cannot yet make a prediction, they are very reserved. From the first day I ask them to tell me what is happening today, not for tomorrow and for a month after. I don’t want to be excited or disappointed, I want to know now. We wait every day.”
